The 18 rooms (actually 2 homes connected) that sleeps 40  overlooks the beautiful landscaping, big pool, Jacuzzi, waterfall and huge deck just in front of forest and lake. With 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, two kitchens and two living rooms, a short walk to the lake, it is ideal for retreats, weddings, social meetings and parties. There is boating, skiing, (snow and water) shopping, snow parks, fishing, golfing, quad trails close, and horse facilities on property. Or kick back in solitude on the quiet decks and observe the deer, eagles and lake.
Family activity options make spot worth a two week trip: Rent ski or house boats at the local marinas (1 mile away) Mt bike, quad or horse ride on numerous mountain trails, kayak the lake, sail, jet ski, river raft, fly fish, charter fishing boats and swim in warm Lake Shasta. We have wonderful places to visit close by: Turtle Bay Exploration Park and Museum with many things to explore—jungle gyms, kid's art, live butterflies and other exhibits, famous Sundial Bridge and river trails; Shasta Caverns are beautiful and fun to visit; kids really love the water slide park and the snow at two breathtaking mountains—Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen (most times with snow through June). It's only 1 ½ hours away to ski or ice skate at an outdoor rink; art galleries and two shopping malls are close (15 minutes to Redding). Great golf courses are in the vicinity. You will find dancing and dining places within a mile and a full grocery store/deli is only five miles away. Shasta Lake has 380 miles of shoreline to explore and Shasta dam and Shasta caverns are a marvel. There are 32 waterfalls in a 45-mile radius of the vacation house.

About the big house: Multiple families can enjoy the two kitchens, two fireplaces, recreation room, big pool and Jacuzzi with the waterfalls overhead while swimming. This spacious vacation home has a different country motif in each room. The two living rooms, two kitchens and dining areas are French and the other space is African. Six bedrooms and five bathrooms feature Egyptian, Chinese, American, Greek, African themes and the "ocean room" with waterbed. One living room has five couches, four with full-sized sleeper beds. Additional sleeping includes 25 new beds and futons in the six bedrooms (three of them pillow-top king size), two futons in each big walk-in closet and six additional beds in the other rooms to sleep 40. The huge recreation room has pool table and bumper pool, air hockey, Foosball, darts and other games. All the rooms and patio have TV, stereo plus a selection of CDs and movies. There is parking for ten cars and RV hookup is available for an additional $25.00 per night. The house is set amid the Shasta National Forest on 3 fenced acres ideal for horses or camping.
